Every so often, I’m asked to assist in police-related matters. For example, I’ve received requests to get more police presence in a specific neighbourhood. So I felt it was a great time to dig into the Council's role related to the Edmonton Police Service (EPS).

Encampments are symptoms of bigger issues related to housing, access to health services, and income inequality. The harsh reality is that homelessness in Edmonton has increased.

Edmontonians see the intrinsic value in trees. Trees have social, economic, and environmental benefits.

COTT is a partnership between the City of Edmonton and Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society. Their goal is to build relationships and connect individuals within the transit system to community support and resources to increase safety and reduce harm.
