Safe Mobility Improvements

Many have reached out and shared concerns about traffic safety. I’ve heard you, and I’m excited to have championed for funding during the budget. You’ll start seeing some of the work happening in Ward Anirniq to address traffic safety concerns so that everyone can move around the ward and city safely. Work in the ward includes new speed tables (i.e. a raised area of the roadway), intersection improvements, Street Labs projects and more! 

Some specific projects in 2023 include: 

  • Speed Table - Rapperswill Drive 

  • Speed Table - Gault Boulevard 

  • Amber Flasher - 112 Ave and 135 Street 

  • Pedestrian Signal - 153 Ave and 126 Street 

  • Rapid Flashing Beacon - 137 Ave and 116 Street 

  • Street Labs - Wellington 

  • Full Signalized Intersection - 122 Ave and St.Albert Trail 

  • Full Signalized Intersection - Sherbrooke/ Dovercourt Ave and St.Albert Trail
