I’m passionate about climate actions - both to reduce emissions and help make Edmonton resilient to future climate changes. The Community Energy Transition Strategy and a recent report presented to the Executive Committee on June 15th highlights that we need to take urgent action.

Today Council voted on implementing a pilot project for the full closure of the downtown traffic lane on 102 Ave between 99 Street and 103 Street.

Snow and ice removal in the City is not working for many Edmontonians. I’ve been speaking with my Council colleagues, meeting with Administration, and connecting with residents who are experiencing our roads, sidewalks, and pathways first-hand.

I’m excited to officially launch my website! The last couple of months have certainly been a whirlwind of activity. 

People have rightfully been sharing their concerns for the safety of unhoused individuals during periods of extreme cold, and I share these concerns. The extreme cold is life-threatening and as we continue to work towards more permanent housing solutions, we must continue to act in the immediate to ensure the safety and well-being of all Edmontonians.
